Vertigo

Tinnitus

Sensory neural deafness

Management

Refer all suspected cases to ENT or neurology to confirm the diagnosis

Provide information and advice about support organizations

Treat acute attacks of vertigo with, e.g. cyclizine or prochlorperazine.

Encourage patients to mobilize after an acute attack

Betahistine

Thiazide diuretics

A low-salt diet

Vestibular rehabilitation

Tinnitus maskers

Hearing aids

Treat any  concurrent anxiety and depression
